A: Internet Banking is a tool that allows you to use a personal computer with an Internet connection to conduct your banking online. We have named our Internet Banking product ClassicBanking Online. We know that even in an age of technology, the "classic" customer-banker relationship is what counts. You are more than a number or an IP address to us.
Q: What can I do with ClassicBanking Online?
A: You can view account balances and transaction history, transfer money, and download transactions to a personal financial manager and much more.
Q: Is any of my personal information stored in the ClassicBanking Online product?
A: Yes, the ClassicBanking Online product stores your User ID, password and user preferences.
Q: How current is my banking information?
A: Your account information is updated every business day with new transactions that were posted to your account the previous business day. Your available balance will reflect some transactions made today, such as cash deposits, electronic transactions, and ATM withdrawals. Additionally, your available balance will be reduced by deposits in process of collection, as explained in our Funds Availability Policy. When you view the transaction history, those that have a running balance next to them are posted. If the transaction does not have a running balance next to it, it is being processed today.
Q: accounts will I be able to access through ClassicBanking Online?
A: You can access your checking, savings, investment and loan accounts from the ClassicBanking Online service. Our Internet Banking Product is intended to give you as much access, security, and versatility as possible.
Q: How much account information can I view at once?
A: The system will automatically show the current month's transactions and information. However, by selecting User Preferences, you can choose to view the current month and the previous month. Or, you can choose to view your account from the current date to same date of the previous month.
Q: Can I view my account details in more than one way?
A: Yes, you can view your accounts by date, check number, payee, amount or balance in ascending or descending order.
Q: In what formats can I download my transaction history?
A: ClassicBanking Online supports downloads to Quicken™, Microsoft Money™ or as a comma-delimited text file.
Q: Can I schedule future transfers?
A: Not at this time. But in the future, you will be able to schedule open, future and recurring transfers.
Q: When can I use ClassicBanking Online services?
A: With ClassicBanking Online, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Q: How long can I be inactive before being logged out of the ClassicBanking Online product?
A: The inactivity time out default is set for 30 minutes.
Q: What is required to use the ClassicBanking Online service?
A: All you need to use ClassicBanking Online is a secure browser that supports 128 bit encryption, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer®, Netscape Navigator® or America On Line®. You can use any computer that has Internet access.
Q: How do I access ClassicBanking Online?
A: You must first have an existing checking or loan account before banking online. Log onto www.classicbanking.com, complete the ClassicBanking Online registration form and submit it to us. Once your registration is received we will process your request. You will receive an email confirming your application has been accepted. You are now ready to signon using your social security number and the password you defined in the application process. At your first login, you will be required to change your ID from your social security number to something that is more secure.
Q: Can I create my own password that is easy for me to remember?
A: Yes. Please read our tips for creating a secure password. From www.classicbanking.com, go to "Security", and then "Internet Security Tips."
Q: What happens if I forget or lose my password?
A: During your application process, you are asked to select three questions and provide the answers. Those three questions and answers will allow you to reset your password. From the login screen, you will see an option to "Click here" to reset your password. If you continue to have problems, just call us during business hours and we will take you through the steps needed to get back into the system immediately!
